Skarzynski Marick & Black Achieves Midsize Mansfield Certification

NEW YORK – May 23, 2023 - Law Firm Skarzynski Marick & Black announces achievement of Midsize Mansfield Certification, marking the culmination of a rigorous 18-month collaboration with Diversity Lab to track, measure and achieve diversity in leadership. The Mansfield Rule Certification recognizes firms that affirmatively consider at least 30% women, underrepresented racial and ethnic lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities for leadership and governance roles, equity partner promotions, formal client pitches, lateral lawyer hiring, and more.

“We are excited to join the growing cohort of firms working to build a robust pipeline of associates, partners and future leaders who reflect the diversity of the clients we serve and the communities where we live and work,” said Tammy Yuen, managing partner and chair of the firm’s Diversity Committee. “One of our firm’s core values is fostering an inclusive and equitable workplace and achieving this certification reflects an important validation of our efforts. In addition, working with Diversity Lab helped us develop more measurable and intentional processes and guidelines that further our DEI initiatives.”
